Preserving Nature for Perpetuity.
Nothing preserves the magnificence of nature's creations quite like the medium of bronze sculpture. The burnished permanence and strength of bronze as a material imparts a power to the work while allowing the sculptor to add intricate detail, bringing the subject to life. Craig has been commissioned to create a number of original bronze works. His most recent and highly acclaimed work is a stunning six-metre (twenty-foot) bronze sculpture of a giant Black Marlin situated on the Cairns Marina Waterfront in Queensland, Australia. This was unveiled to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the capture of the first 'Grander' (1000lb Marlin) that put Cairns firmly on the global game-fishing map. Inspired by a scene witnessed on the GBR, this one-off sculpture is titled 'Black Strike'.
